| The Adventure Park at Nashville, the zip line and treetop climbing experience, several new Fall adventures: The Adventures in STEM, Bachelor/Bachelorette Party Packages and Firepit Friday create fun for all ages. 1. The Adventures in STEM program returns for the Fall session. The Adventures in STEM program is an interactive adventure and educational experience for kids 10+. Program participants will learn about science, technology, math, engineering… and adventure! The program is made up of 3 classes, each one exploring a different STEM topic. Participants will learn how we incorporate STEM concepts into the design and operation of The Adventure Park. Plus, we’ll have fun, hands-on experiments to see these concepts in action! The price is $175 for a 3 class session and available for kids 10+. The STEM concepts are geared to 10-12 year olds. Dates Fall Session 1: 9/17, 9/24, 10/1 Fall Session 2: 10/8, 10/15, 10/22 Class starts at 4:30 pm Supervised climbing time from 5:30 pm – 7 pmHow it works Each class is 1 hour of facilitated instruction followed by supervised climbing in the park. All equipment and materials are provided. Participants must be at least 10 years of age Participants must follow all Park rules. Class Topics Class 1: Gravity in Motion (physics): We’ll explore the concepts of gravity, force, motion, speed and massClass 2: Trees, Trees and more Trees (biology): We’ll explore the trees at The Adventure Park, plus some other flora and fauna too! Class 3: Let Them Zip (science, engineering, math): Building on the concepts in Classes 1 and 2, we’ll look at slope, weight, speed and tree health in zipline design. BOOK YOUR PARTY HERE The very pupular “Firepit Friday” returns on Friday, September 3, adding a campfire to the night climbs where guests can get cozy by the fire. Firepit Friday tickets include up to 2 hours of climbing and a 30 minute safety briefing. Climbers have full access to the courses at the beginning of their climb.Courses then begin to close on the following schedule: Black courses close one hour prior to closing, Blue courses 45 minutes, Green courses 30 mins, and Yellow course at 15 minutes.
