Adele turned 32 on Tuesday (May 5) and she celebrated by sharing a rare photo of herself on Instagram. The photo included a message to healthcare and essential workers and it created a huge buzz but it wasn’t her words that got people talking.
This photo came after a five-month social media hiatus. It’s her first post since December and it really got people talking. In it, she’s beaming in a gorgeous black mini dress and heels.
“Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time,” she wrote along with the photo. I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels.”
It wasn’t her kind words that received the most comments, though. It was her new look. Fans and celebrities took notice and voiced their support. “I mean are you kidding me,” Chrissy Teigen said while Lil Nas X commented, “why you won.” Rita Wilson wished her a happy birthday before saying, “Looking gorgeous!”
Adele hasn’t publicly commented on her weight loss. Instead, she’s focusing on how she can spread some love and light during this pandemic. After all, she’s always been beautiful.
