2021 ACMs: Dierks Bentley, War and Treaty Cover U2’s ‘Pride’

We didn’t expect Dierks Bentley and War and Treaty to come together during the 2021 ACMs to cover U2. We definitely didn’t expect to love it.

This performance happened at Nashville’s Station Inn, a venue Bentley has been going to since he was 19. There, the War and Treaty (Michael Trotter and Tanya Blount) provided impeccable backing harmonies for a cover of “Pride (In the Name of Love).” You may remember that Bentley covered this song back in 2010. Once again it had a folk feel, feeling like an impressive jam session.
