Independence Day is a week away and Nashville is ready to celebrate. Here’s how you can enjoy the 4th of July right here in Music City.
BBQ Rooftop Party
Celebrate America’s independence with a rooftop party at one of our favorite rooftop bars, TENN on Top at Holston House (118 7th Avenue N). The daytime party happens from 2 PM to 6 PM and includes specialty cocktails as well as Bud/Bud Lights for $5. Enjoy tasty 4th of July foods like a Wagyu hot dog, All-American burger, peanut-glazed and jalapeno-infused pork ribs and potato salad. Don’t forget your sunnies!
Let Freedom Sing!
Music City is known for its 4th of July party — and epic fireworks display. This year is no different. The free fun includes family activities, live music and more. Brett Eldredge, Mac McAnally, Jessy Wilson, Dylan Scott and the Nashville Symphony will perform during the party. Get all the details here.
Free as a Bird Party
Celebrate the 4th the Noelle way — at Rare Bird’s rooftop lounge. They’ll have all-inclusive drinks, food and great views of the fireworks! The party starts at 7:30 PM but space is limited. Tickets are $225 and include admission to Rare Bird, complimentary signature drinks, complimentary food stations, passed appetizers and premium fireworks viewing. Grab your tickets now before they sell out.
Red, White & BOOM
If you’re looking for a very family-friendly 4th of July celebration, look no further than the Adventure Science Center. Their Red, White & Boom party starts at 6:15 PM. They invite you to bring your family for fireworks viewing from their lawn. They’ll have live music, free parking, hands-on science fun, food trucks and more. Everything you need to know is here.
July 4th Celebration at ACME
ACME Feed & Seed‘s 4th of July party is an all-day celebration, starting at 11 AM with jazz brunch. After brunch, you can catch live music at 2 PM, 5 PM and 8 PM. The cover is $5 at the door after 3 PM but a VIP package is available, which includes rooftop access. All of that information is here.
Brentwood Fireworks Celebration
The Kadillacs Concert and July 4th Celebration is a Brentwood tradition and it starts at 7 PM. The fireworks happen after dark at Crockett Park-Eddie Arnold Amphitheater. The Brentwood city website has more information.
L27’s Liberty & Libations

Hot Chicken Festival
The Music City Hot Chicken Festival happens on July 4th, before all the madness happens downtown. It’s from 11 AM to 3 PM at East Park and it’s becoming an East Nashville tradition. If you’re into hot chicken, head to East Park for family-friendly fun!
