In the video, Gimble is referred to as the “finest fiddle player in the world.” The video discusses Gimble’s early playing days and early inspirations as well all of the artists he played for over the years. That impressive list includes Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard.

In the 1980s, he signed a solo record deal that brought traditional country music into a more modern-day era. He recorded his own music and brought his inspirations into the music with him.
West started in a troubled childhood but she was able to overcome with music — and her guitar. “Here Comes My Baby” became one of West’s signature songs and even won her a Grammy Award. She was never afraid to chase her dreams, including one of singing a duet with the legendary Kenny Rogers.
Congratulations to the 2018 class of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
