The 2018 American Music Awards are just a couple of weeks away and the nominees are in.
Cardi B and Drake lead the nominees this year with eight each. Drake earned a nod for the night’s biggest category — Artist of the Year. He’s up against Imagine Dragons, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. Cardi B, on the other hand, is nominated for New Artist of the Year. In that category, she faces Camila Cabello, Khalid, Dua Lipa and XXXTENTACION.
The 2018 AMAs air live on ABC on Oct. 9 at 7 PM. Tracee Ellis Ross will host the show and voting is open now for most categories. Vote now on Billboard’s website. Voting for New Artist of the Year, Favorite Social Artist and Collaboration of the Year begins Sept. 24 on the AMAs website.
