15th Annual Franklin Wine Festival Raises Money for Charity

The 15th Annual Franklin Wine Festival is a fun, wine-filled evening that benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. It happens Oct. 25 at The Factory at Franklin from 7 PM to 10 PM.

Eventgoers can try more than 300 “world-class vintages” and enjoy food pairings from 30 local restaurants.

“The Franklin Wine Festival is a truly ‘grand’ experience for both foodies and wine connoisseurs alike,” says Melissa Hudson-Gant, CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. “This regionally recognized event pairs extensive offerings by Nashville’s finest chefs with selected wines from around the world. Nowhere else will you have the opportunity to sample so many prestigious wines and culinary favorites while enjoying the best entertainment anywhere.”

The wine and food may be the main acts but they’re supported by live entertainment, the Bubble Lounge, Whiskey Lounge and Biergarten, plus a silent auction and fundraising competition — King and Queen of the Vines.

Every area has its own vibe. The Bubble Lounge is a relaxing space to sip on champagne, prosecco and sparkling wine. The Jamison Theater will be transformed into an “old-world saloon with rustic wood, whiskey barrels, barn wood bar tops where guests will enjoy a wide variety of exclusive tastings.” Fine cigars will also be on sale. There’s also a Biergarten where beer lovers can sample a variety of beers from all over.

Tickets to the 15th Annual Franklin Wine Festival are on sale now. General admission tickets are $89, VIP tickets are $145 and the Designated Driver ticket is $35. The VIP treatment includes a walk down the red carpet with sponsors as well as early entry to the event and silent auction.
